      UPDATE: RECOVERED!!

After almost 3 weeks and countless hours of searching the internet, trails, bike racks, and neighborhoods, I HAVE RECOVERED MY STOLEN BIKE!!

I can’t get into details yet, but I want to thank each and every person who viewed this posting and every rider who I spoke with while stalking the Galbraith parking lot for my bike.

This event has put a lot of things in perspective, the most salient being DON’T GIVE UP!!

I got lucky. Period. The odds are stacked against us who have had bikes stolen. The police are understaffed, underfunded, and have a lot working against them in the pursuit of cases like this. It is up to us as a bike community to come together in our times of need and that is what happened here.

Hope to see you all on the trails.

      Ride on!
