SRAM is recalling Rock Shox Domain freeride forks that were sold between March and April 2008. Both the 302 and 318 forks are affected by a problem where the fork may come unattached from the bike. There was one report of a person in the US being injured and two international reports with no injuries. Contact SRAM for more details…

Im not positive which one I have on my K2, either the 302 or a 312 I beleive, but its the ‘TORA’ model. I dont know about it coming detached from the bike but it sure leaked like a screen door – and its the one I bought to replace the original one that went bad. Personally Im not having good luck with the Rock Shok brand here, hopefully SRAM can get these kinds of problems dialed in soon.
