Sram Guide brakes

Hi all,

I have an issue with my brakes and needing advise please.
Originally the rear brakes held pressure ok but the lever was not rebounding quickly.
My local shop rebuilt both front and back brakes with new kits but since then the rear brake is not holding pressure and gone soft.
It has been back to the shop twice to have the brake bleed but it is still soft, they have now told me there is nothing they can do and it needs replacing.
My issue is the brake was holding pressure before the rebuild, is it possible the kit has not been fitted correctly or are they right and it needs to be replaced?
