Ok, since buying a Felt F4x (equipped with force / rival 1x), my derailleur gets stuck wherever I am on the cassette, and I can’t shift into smaller gears on flats when conditions are wet and gritty. I can go larger, but not smaller.
It’s happened in two gravel road races, forces me to dismount and flick the deraileur.
First of all, is this common? And second, is there anything that can be done to curtail This?
Thanks!!
Remarkably frustrated,
Gravelover

just saw a sram recall on 2012 red deraillers that had that problem
i have a 2013 red x9 sram derailler that does the same thing , arm seems to lock up and prevent any movement shifting ,whether dry or mud conditions
best to contact sram since they have had this problem with their design over the years it can be dangerous , Ive stopped using mine
