Hello,
I am fairly new to Mountain Biking, and have a Specialized Rockhopper 27.5
Someone offered to sell me a Specialized Demo DH frame for very little. I was wondering if anyone had any idea if I could just switch out all the parts from my Rockhopper over to this Demo frame and have myself a full-suspension bike? I have a machining background, so the technical aspects do not seem to daunting.. but I do not know how interchangeable the parts are.
Thanks,
Charles

Virtually nothing will carryover to the DH bike. The hubs are a different width, so you’d need new wheels. The fork won’t fit, cranks won’t fit. You could probably reuse handlebars and grips, that’s about it.
