I saw the rare 2020 Mythique 27 VRX pop up on a classifieds website (rare because it’s in the United States), but it’s for an XL.

      I’m a whisker under 6’1″, with a 34″ inseam.

The Mythique VRX website says my height is on the high end of a Large, but my inseam on the low end of XL.

Should I pass on it knowing I’m probably better heighted for a Large (at the high end), or go for it seeing that my inseam (presumably for standover height) is a match at XL?

I’m 5’9′ and ride a size-XL Trek Full Stache. However, I do have the saddle pushed all the way forward and replaced the stock 60mm stem with a 35mm stem. I nearly always size up at least one size and sometimes even two sizes because I like the way longer bikes handle.

At 6’1′, you might have to push the saddle forward on a size-XL and that’s about it. However, if you did need a shorter stem, they only cost about $30 online. You are already at the tall end for a size-L. I don’t think a size XL will be any problem at all.
