Shimano SPD pedals

I want to upgrade my SPDs. I would appreciate anyone’s recommendations on SPD-compatible pedals. Lighter,stronger not extraordinarilly expensiv. Thanks.

I recommend the Shimano XTs. Around $100.00 on line (Performance). They will outlast your bike. 😄 Later,

I use the Shimano PD-M520. Basicly they are the same as the XT, but like 30g heavier and half as expensive

Xt’s for sure. Nice wide platform and super bearings.

520s for me I’ll cut the 65 grams out of my love handles. 😀 Sorry, that’s non responsive to the question. Guess I’d check at the LBS and hope for good things.
