Shimano brake fluid

I need to bleed my brakes and was wondering if anyone has tried any fluid other then shimano mineral oil?

I’ve used Finish Line products for my brakes and have had good success. Their DOT 5.1 fluid is top notch but won’t work on your brakes if they need mineral oil. My only complaint is that they seem a bit expensive when you compare them to the stuff you can find at automotive stores.

Hi there… With Shimano brakes you can use only their fluid or brake specific mineral oil..
Motorex have that fluid as well.

By the way the Motorex fluids proper name is – Hydraulic Fluid 75
