Sealed Bearings in a Bearing Headset

I have a new fork for my bike that I would like to put on. It didn’t come with a bearing slider, ring thing on it. Can I take the whole regular bearings mech off of my headset and put put in sealed bearings?

I think you’re referring to the bearing race. That’s the little ring that goes on the fork’s steerer tube and then interfaces with the bearing at the bottom of the headset. Regardless of what kind of bearings are used – sealed or otherwise – you’ll need to correct race for your headset.
