I have the opportunity to purchase a used, stock Rocky Mountain Flare 29. I know Rocky Mountain has a great reputation for building great bikes, but I was hard pressed to find a lot of information on the Flare 29. Was wondering if anybody had an info on this bike, or any suggestions. Here are the components of this bike:

That is an entry level mtb. Low grade components all around. This doesnt make it a bad bike just know the components arent going to take a beating as well as a higher end bike. I personally wouldnt pay more than 200 to 250 for that rig.

Thanks! I have decided against it also. Not only the low specs and high price have turned me off, but the guy wasn’t willing to meet me quarter of the way on a 3 hour drive. 😆
