RockShox Boxxer RC – 2019 – Damper side is super easy to push down

Hi All,

New to the forum, i’m in the process of re-building a really old dh frame (banshee morphine 2003). I was able to pick up a newish rockshox boxxer RC for relatively cheap.  When installing it I noticed that i was able to push the damper side of the fork down easily and it does not rebound to  the full height of the airspring side (none of the crowns are tightened down right now).  This is my first exposure to installing a dual crown, should i be concerned?
