Fortunately it’s only the griz that usually act this aggressive. Blacks can be dangerous, but not nearly so much as the griz. Unless you’re riding in Montana or Alaska, an encounter with a griz isn’t going to happen. Evne there, encounters are rare. The griz are mostly in National parks and designated Wildereness areas where bikes aren’t allowed.
It is a good demonstration, though and certainly worth your awareness if you are in those areas.
I tend to be more concerned with big cats, skunks, and porcupines. Only the big cats can kill you, but the other two can sure ruin your day!

where i am there are big cats (rare this far west) and porcupines, I wouldn’t want to run into one of those.

Yeah, we have the big cats and mostly black bears. Most of the time the bears will just run from you.
