After coming off my first season of riding, I am looking for some advice on how to stay in shape during the long cold Michigan winter? Outside of going to the local gym and riding the stationary bike, is there another way that’s less boring? Any advice on this would be helpful.

check out winter training ideas viewtopic.php?f=85&t=4404
many good ideas. stationary bikes are good however i would take a "Spinning" class. A lot of fun. x/c skiing, snowshoeing are great. ice skating, pick up games of hockey at the local pond (or rink)
Alpine skiing (or snowboarding) is also a good choice. Really helps you pick your line just like mt biking. All of these are good work outs but more important they are just plain old fun to do!
