First of all im new to thr forum so hi, i have bought an avanti vapour 16.3 xc mtb, does anyone know much about them,it cost £1300 and rides great but after looking at the components im wondering are they old dated  ?

frame development to tune wheel rate giving great small bump compliance, more perceived travel and good bottom out protection. Low ratios between the wheel travel and shock stroke increase shock velocities enabling the compression and rebound damping circuits inside the shock to give better control of the suspension motion.
Plush feel over rough terrain: supple, smooth and controlled. Lighter weight frame that retains strength and durability.

      Integrated Rocker
The key to an accurate-handling and flex-free suspension frame is linking together both sides of the rear triangle as strongly as possible. Avantis one piece integrated rocker link, TruLink, is designed to do just that lock both sides together so the frame stays true under even the highest torsional and side-loads.
High rigidity for responsive and accurate handling over the roughest terrain.

Looks like a nice bike to me. While the components listed aren’t the latest and greatest, they aren’t exactly “outdated” yet either. You’ll be able to find replacement parts for several years to come.
