New tyres for carbon xc missile.

As header, I’m after fast tyres for my Cube GTC carbon XC hard tail.

Its main use is urban riding/Laning, single-track, hard pack.

I want a fast rolling tyre.

Im thinking about the Maxxis Pace for the rear. Any suggestions for front or alternatives for the rear ??

I’ve used the the 29×2.4 Maxxis Rekon Race’s which I liked quite a bit because it’s high volume and rolls super fast.  It’s almost just a wide Gravel tire. However, it comes up a little bit short on steep loose descents where you might be wishing for a bit more traction.  I’ve also had great experiences with the regular 2.4 Rekon which is only slightly slower rolling but delivers a lot more traction.   A Rekon on the front and a Rekon Race on the back might be the perfect pairing.
