There is a State Natural Area here in South Texas that needs to be developed. There are groups already trying to say that they want no high impact trail usage such as Mountain Biking. All articles I have found point to the fact that mountain biking and hiking have the same amount of impact on the trails. Does anyone have any articles, resources, etc that I can use to help my group in our battle for new trail? It would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I don’t have any articles, but I now live in Very South Texas. Just let me know what else I can do to help!

I believe IMBA references some studies that support mountain biking as having similar impacts as hiking.
