I have been riding on my WTB Mutano Raptor tires 26 x 2.24 in the back and 26 x 2.4 in the front all summer. These are great in dry, loose conditions, but when the weather changed and became kind of soggy, they just weren’t cutting it. I have been waiting on these for some time and got them as a late Christmas gift. I took them out today as soon as they arrived. Man oh man! These tires are just plain nasty! Superior grip, acceleration, cornering, traction, and control in those really tight switchbacks. If these are this good in the soggy winter, I can’t wait to see how they perform in the dry summer.

Nice bike too.
I’ve thought about trying the panaracers, but I just like my velociraptors too much!
