I picked up a set of Shimano 7 speed Rapidfire STX triggers and put them on the bike recently and the 7 speed shifter for the rear works great but my front derailleur/3 speed shifter seems to need some help,and so do I.
It seems to "over travel" on shifts and I dropped the chain to the inside last night.I’ll fix the travel adjustment this evening but it almost seems to need adjusted in the lever to lessen the travel…even when it seems to be set where it should,I get some chain rubbing on the derailleur up front.
Anyone have any suggestions?
