I’m in Australia and bike gear has gone through the roof as our exchange rate has dropped.
I want to put some carbon mtb wheels on my 2017 Specialized EPIC
I can’t afford big brand wheels, but also don’t want to go cheap ebay wheels either.
I have seen some reviews on youtube about TUFF mountain bike wheels
http://www.tuffcycle.com/mountain-bike.html
has anybody else had experience with these wheels or know somebody who has?
prices seem mid range, some positive reviews around the place, and I can choose the hubs I want (probably DT240s with 28 spokes front and rear)
The review I saw was for the 921 rims, but I might go a bit wider and pick the 928 wheels since I use this bike for all my riding not just for racing. I think I have enough tire clearance, and don’t really ride in the mud much anyway!
