Hi Everyone,
I just bought a Trek 930 MTB from garage sale for $35.
The front suspension is not working. No matter how I adjust the knobs on top it just won’t move. As shown in photos, it looks the internal pressue is completely gone.
Another problem is the headset is missing, and it is rusty inside.
Could anyone tell me how to fix these parts. If I send it to mechanics or bike shop how much it will cost?

Assuming the fork can be fixed, I think you’d be looking at $100-200 to get the fork serviced, and a new headset installed – including the cost of the headset.
Unless the rest of the bike is mint, I’d say it’s not worth it.

Like already mentioned, IF the rest of the bike is mint, I would just order one of these and install it:
