Hey guys,
Im looking to buy a new fork for my bike. Its a diamondback response comp 26" with 1 1/8" headtube. It has to be disc and have option for a remote lockout. Ive been looking at the rock shox recon silver and the toras. Im not sure which to go with though. Id like to spend less than $300. Got any suggestions?

Take the Recon, that’s not a bad fork at all.
Stay away from Suntour or RST….

The 29er I’m currently testing has the Recon Silver. It’s not as buttery smooth as the $600 Fox on my other bike, but it’s definitely a good fork for the price.

Yah, I’m really liking the recon. I saw a 2011 Manitou R7 pro on ebay and I was thinking about that. It has all the features I was looking for and its almost a lb lighter than the recon. Its even under $350 with the remote lockout, any opinions??
