My First Time at Fruita-Kokopelli Loops Trip Report 4-13-15

I have been meaning to get to Fruita for some riding since I moved to Colorad and finally got in a ride. Monday I rode from Kokopelli TH and hit Mary’s Loop, Horsethief Bench, Steve’s Loop, Wrangler’s Loop, and Rustler’s Loop. A great intro to the area on great trails and great scenery. Glad you finally made it. I’ll never forget my first Fruita ride, which followed a very similar route to yours (just no Wrangler as it hadn’t been built yet).

Isn’t it amazing how whataever photo you can take doesn’t even come close to showing the treachery that awaits at the entrance to Horsethief? To be able to ride that clean would really be somethin’.
