Found myself with a hundred dollar walmart gift card, been looking at some GPS units on the web site and was wondering what the best choice for me would be. I’m not shy about dropping another hundred or so to get a upgraded unit.

I like the looks of the Venture HC or the Summit HC but I’m a total GPS noob so I have no clue.
I’m looking for a unit to map out some trails in the area that aren’t updated or have zero information.

I’ve been using a Garmin Dakota 20 for the last couple of months. It is pretty robust and doesn’t seem to loose satilite contact. It also is compatible with the Birdseye view imagery.
Definately a great GPS and worth the money.
