Since I just bought a new mtb, I’d like to turn my old bike into a commuter/knock-around. I have some new tires, bars and a more upright stem. The bike has a very old (15 years?) Rock Shox fork on it that I believe is no longer serviceable. I’d like to find a regular rigid fork to mount up in place of the old RS. The frame is a steel Specialized S-Works that is again about 15 years old. Any ideas on where I might locate a fork?

(You didn’t mention if your current headset is 1" threaded or 1 1/8" threadless, Tange makes both, purchase accordingly!)

By the way, the Tange ones, and most others, are "suspension corrected" to keep your bike at the same geometry as stock.

Cool….getting ready to go tear that old Rock Shox off there to confirm size. It will be nice to have that rig running again.
