FONTANA DAM — The Icycle cross-country and downhill mountain bike race, presented by Sycamore Cycles of Pisgah Forest, is Saturday at Fontana Village Resort.
There will be two waves of cross-country racing starting at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. with a Le Mans cross-country race start and racers leaving in 5-minute waves in sport, big bike and beginner classes. The seven-mile course consists of varied terrain in the Nantahala National Forest.
