I am going to Boulder in a few days with the family to visit the place. Is it worth persuading my parents to take my bike with us? I ride cross/country trail, by the way. And what trails are good there, if any? Thanks. 😮

Definitely worth bringing your bike. Just 15 minutes from Halls Ranch- one of the best rides in the state. Walker Ranch is very sweet and Valmont Park is cool as hell. Check the videos and ratings on those 3 alone and you’ll want your bike. The mini helicopter video on Valmont park is worth watching just for fun.

Thanks, I will bring it(hopefully).

Boulder gets a bad rap for not being super MTB-friendly but I haven’t found that to be the case at all. The trails Gdb49 mentioned are great and should be at the top of your list. Plus, the city of Boulder is so bike friendly, it makes sense to bring a bike just to get around town on all the bike paths.
Here’s my take after my trip this summer: http://www.singletracks.com/blog/mtb-tr … oulder-co/
