Hey Everybody,
I’ve been doing some research about full suspension mountain bikes and I see that the dual-suspension technology is relatively new, but I can’t find anything specific. Can anyone help me? When was the first dual-suspension mountain bike made? When did it start to match hardtails in performance like speed and agility? Any tidbits?
Thanks Guys!

I had to vote Hardtail because I’ve never owned a FS. One day, my vote may change. 😃

Yeah,I’ll try to find it again but I found a bicycle history web page that had either the very first bike or very first bike WITH pedals that had suspension seat.It had a spring fixed in and under the seat to act like suspension, although not suspension at the wheels but it did make the rider more comfortable over the bumps.
I saved the web page but it was on my old computer that seized up one day several months ago,I’ll see if I can either find the page by search or retreive it back out of the old computer.Very interesting subject…. -
