However I have never been, so far were looking at going the first weekend of the month and hopefully staying at the dead horse campground. Plans arent solid but were looking to make them next week. I guess does anyone have any advice for a first timer? I have never been at all and never mountain biked slickrock either. I guess if you could share some of your experiences with me then i would very much appreciate it. Thanks! 😃

First part of August? Plan for some extremely hot weather, bring ALOT of water! Will most likely be very dusty down that way too that time of year, so plan drivetrain maintenance accordingly. Slickrock is fun, but can be challenging. Oh and it is not "slick" so don’t let the name fool you…lol. 😮 Otherwise, look into some of the local shops down there, poison spider is a good one, and they should have lots of info.
