I upgraded my bike from a 10 year old full suspension to a new Giant Stance 2 recently. While I totally love the bike I was curious to know if I could upgrade the rear suspension to the Maestro system from the current flex point system that the bike came with? I have to stay within a budget due to getting back into mountain biking and a wife that doesn’t "get it". Any tips or pointers would be greatly appreciated!

The short answer is no.
The slightly less short answer is that the Stance employs a different frame design that is missing a pivot point and instead relies on frame flex at that junction.
