Hey all,
I am looking for a fork for a bike I am building up and could use some help, this is what I am looking for:
-Adjustable travel on the fly.
-Quick release
-Travel range some where between 160mm(max) to 100mm(min).
-Air, not spring or some other jazz.
-Price range $400-700.Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Your right I pretty much just ride/race XC, but I got an itch to get airborne.

Push Industries, speaks very highly of the new RockShox line, especially since the merger with Sram.
The Revelation fits everything you said, and it’s $699 at Pricepoint.com

I’m going used for my next fork purchase. Times are tough!
I even had to switch from my fave Fat Tire to PBR…gets me an 18 pack for $3.00 less than a 12 pack of the ‘good stuff’
😃In this economy, you gotta do what you gotta do!

In the market your looking at:
FOX TALAS 36mm (160-120mm)
FOX TALAS 32mm (150-120mm)(ROCKSHOX higher priced first)
Rockshox Lyric RC (160-115mm)
Rockshox Revelation RL,RLT,RLT Ti (150-120mm)(priced low ti high RL – RLT Ti)
Rockshox Sektor RL (150-115mm U-Turn)I think the 55 series from Marzocchi have a model that is adjustable as well..
X-Fusion has one but it is not on the fly adjustable.

Maddslacker, you have to prioritize my friend. Beer is more important than food and other "non essentials". I told my wife one night to go get her coat, she replied " oh, you taking me out?" I said "no, I’m going to the bar and shutting off the heat." 😆
