July 8, 2013 at 11:27 #120710Taos Ski Valley is getting into the mountain bike game. The ski area is debuting a flow trail at the base today (June 27) and it’s shooting to have a lift-accessed mountain bike trail open to the public by the early September.
“It’s just one more component in a handful of offerings up here that will enhance the experience at Taos Ski Valley.” TSV’s Hano Blake said.
The ski area’s brand new beginner flow and cross-country mountain bike trail, which opened June 27, will allow novice riders to learn bike handling skills and experienced riders to better their skill set. The beginner flow-trail loop will be a quarter-mile continuous track featuring multiple rollers and berms and located in and around the Pioneers beginner slope. . It is suited for all types of riders. There is no cost to enjoy this new bike park since bikers don’t need to ride the lift to access the trail.Read more here: http://www.taosnews.com/sports/article_ … f887a.html
