A buddy of mine and I decided something needed to be done about all the trail closures and headed South West to Salida Colorado where the kind folks at Absolute Bikes directed us to the Bear Creek section of the Rainbow Trail. If you are in the neighborhood too early to do the Crest, give this a go to scratch that forested singletrack itch.
