Been riding MTB for about a week, but not new to biking. I have a 29er hardtail and am in Nashville for the week, deciding if I want to try a downhill (which, they warn, is for advanced riders, but many review it as less advanced than they thought it would be).I feel comfortable on the bike and I seem to have some agility left from my BMX days (admittedly, I was only 12).
I guess the question I’m getting at is not one of skill, but is it wise to take a 29er on a downhill? What would be the disadvantages, or, is this simply just not advised?
I may just be confusing Free Riding, Downhill, and the whole lot of it! 😕
Thanks errbody!
