DIY Slide-Out Bike Rack for Van Conversion

Just wanted to share our storage solution for our van conversion. It’s quick & easy to load. The slides have built-in locks to hold them in open/close position.

Pretty cool solution. I always wondered how people got to their bikes with a lofted sleeping setup like this. Without the slide I’m guessing it’s pretty awkward.

Yeah, we did not have the slides at first.

It turns out, not only it is more fun to load/unload the bike, it also provide protection for the bike and the van against scratches and dents.
