Disc Brake Repairs

Quick question: I’ve been looking around for information on overhauling my disc brakes and can’t find any good guides. There are plenty for V style brakes and whatnot but there is a lot more going on in disc brakes and I want to make sure I don’t further jack them up. Tips or links would be appreciated.
