I am exploring building single speed frames with a frame builder i know. he is reynolds certified and works wonderfully, but he is not yet know. he has built over 5000 frames in in lifetime. if they were made custom based from 10 different measurements submitted by email with custom paint in aluminum or chromoly what would you guys say about $1500 shipped for just the frame?

Yes, expensive. There are builders that can do custom titanium for just under 2k.
