Seen that one before and yeah those guys are hauling some serious arse. But, I’d totally drop an elbow on one of them if I were one of the multiple riders in front of them that they just ran right off the course. Maybe I don’t speak French well enough but it don’t recall hearing them say "incoming" or "excuse me" or even "on your right" while they blew past people in the turns. Some were smart enough to hear them coming and get over but others had no chance.
Here’s another DH Speed video for you if you haven’t already seen it. Turn up your volum so you can hear the commentators, they make the video.

Both awesome, but yeah, a bit douchey on the courtesy on the first one. Specially when he rubbed the kids rear tire in the very beginning.
hat Sam Hill video is great, breaks your heart to see him washing out on the very end and loose by a half second after such a commanding speed. Any given Sunday I suppose.

It’s sick how fast he was going! He just glides over roots like they aren’t there and he’s not even wearing any armor. Even when he crashes he jumps back on the bike immediately and goes for broke to the line. A TRUE Badazz!! I would have to change underwear after a ride like that one! 😉

thats nuts plain nuts the first video looked to me as if they made one wrong move it would be all bad and someone would be seeing their maker
the 2nd one said it was removed or deleted for violation of terms of use
love watching DH but dont know if i’ll ever have a set of marbles big enough to try it.

The the only thing sick about that video is the etiquette of these two douchebag riders. they need a broomstick in the front spokes of their wheels for that behavior.

I have to agree, the way he almost ran that one guy off the side of the cliff made him a real douche bag. With that aside, the video was awesome, I could almost taste the dirt. I wish i had access to some trails like that.

Oh man, that video reminds me of last year when I took a trip to winter park and we rode the lift access DH trails, there was me,a bike shop employee, his two buddys, and two newbs that had never been to the lift access DH thing.Dont get me wrong,I got passed and dusted on my stmpjumper, but the two newbs both went down on that colorado sun dryed hard pack when the downhill rigs went by em because they didnt know how to watch for and get out of the way.But I know what ya mean when they end up wrecking somone for there own benefit, but even those two newbs werent afraid to admit that maby they should have been more aware of the faster down hill dudes that ride those trails all the time.I can see both sides, and realize that safe and curtious riding is a big priority in consideration to everyones health and the mtn biker reputation, but I also can see the plight of the dedicated DH riders who have to put up with slower riders getting in there way all the time like somone who drives too slow in the fast lane when people are trying to get to work in the morning traffic.?????I’m kinda stuck at that point, what should those DH dudes do,I mean they always have to deal with the slower riders on a peice of singletrack with no passing lanes while they pay for the tickets for the lift access, and are there to blast down the mountain on there $4000 DH rigs to get away from that part of the world that inhibits there ability to just fly.But then again,I saw blood and hanging skin on two of my buddys arms, and that kinda pissed me off a little, but what about the DH singletrack that is there for the DH’ers soul purpous of gravety fed pleasure to just fly.I’m truly stuck at that point, which one is wrong, which one is right?????Anybody want to chime in on this????

😆 That’s funny! Yeah those two weren’t the most polite DH’ers with their passing ettiquette. They should have waited a little and passed in a more safe and polite manner in better spots…but that’s just me. The course was sick though and had some serious exposure in areas. Man, I wanna ride that course on a DH sled.

Well, people pay $100k’s for high speed sports cars but can’t just run people off the road, no matter what lane they are in. If they for ce someone off the road they are still at fault. If it’s an open trail, It’s an open trail. Anyone can ride it. Riders have to be prepared for any and all people and obstcles on the path. If they want to "test their limits" they need to enter closed events. On the other hand riders should be aware of what type of trail they are riding and not charge something they aren’t ready for or capable of riding. There should be people at those DH/Ski resort parks that monitor that sort of thing

They doo at my resort/ bike park. They WILL take your pass. We have lots of patolers on the trails and where the trails merge.
But at the same time, there are alot of people on certain trails that have no business being on those trails.
