Just wanted to post about some above and beyond customer service. I have the Bell Platinum bike computer and somehow the wheel mounted magnet came off on a trail and was lost. I sent Bell an email wanting to know if I could purchase a replacement from them. I got an email back from them that said " Sorry you have lost your wheel mount. If you will give us your phone # and your address we will send one right out to you". So I sent the needed info and her response was thanks and your item is on it’s way to you. Great customer service like that is very rare these days… I know it’s not a high dollar computer or part- but they sure did come through for me when I should have been the one paying for a new part. Instead she sent it to me free of any charge- not even the shipping was charged to me.
Bell’s customer service really impressed me with that 😃

WOW!!! that is rare in todays day and age, I think they are an underrated or forgotten company because Wal-mart carries them but I too have been impressed with their products and price (never delt with cust. service, but then again didn’t need to) Glad to hear that a company still gives a shit AFTER the purchase was made

I’ve had similar good response from Crank Bros when getting pedals serviced. Any company that goes the extra mile has my business for life.

Funny how the stars line up!! I posted earlier that I haven’t had to deal with their cust. service…until now I had a problem with my floor pump hose and valve head thats it, 2 small, interchangeable, inexpensive parts. I contacted customer service, provided a pic of the pump (I didn’t know what nomenclature it was) they could’ve just sent the parts, or even told me to kick rocks but they are sending me an entire pump free of charge!!! I’m definetly a customer for life!!!!!! Full face helmet here I come!!

That’s pretty cool about the foot pump, so maybe I should do that with mine as well. Pumps come and go around here, even the more pricey ones… 😆
I have always used Bell helmets and products growing up and even for my son growing up, and still use their air pumps and some other junk as well. We used to don on Bell FF helmets for awhile, but we now fly with Fly Racing FF, ProTec FF, and ProTec skid lids. ProTec is the bomb and built stronger than any other helmet I have used and have seen less brain damage donning them on in all my years of riding. Even though, Bell still makes great stuff.

Yeah- it’s pretty impressive nowadays for a comapny to go beyond just selling you a product- as if thats where it all ends. They have my business for life now….

It is impressive!! and I’m not going to take anything away from Bell I’m sure they’ve always been in it to help customers anyway they can they have’nt been in business this long for nothing but I think that companies (generally speaking) are realizing that repeat customers are the key to a long lasting business especially with the economy in the shitter people either figure out a way on their own or decide weather they NEED or WANT (there is a difference 😀 ) a product. and I will definetly compare FF before I buy I need to protect what little gray matter I have left 😆 -

Yeah man, they have been around for awhile. No dissing Bell here, they have been around this long for a good reason… 😉
