Im really itching to explore Bear Creek and some of the Pinhoti trail this fall while the leaves are still colorful. I am located in Buford Ga and would love to go on an all day epic. Im not familiar with the trails and dont want to go at it alone. Anyone interested? My skill level would be considered intermediate and plan on taking my time to enjoy the sights and smells and exploration. Are there any group rides?

When are you thinking about this I am interested also but never have been. A day trip sounds like a great idea .

If you do end up going with a second person you should park one car at the end (the overlook) and drive the other up to the top of Bear Creek so you can shuttle Bear Creek, P1, P2, and P3. It’s a really nice ride (~19 miles) where you get to see everything and enjoy the Bear Creek downhill right at the start. It’s If you’re feeling strong, do the whole thing as an out and back.
