The idea is the drone follows the rider from a set position, but the result is sorta unpleasant to watch. It’s as if someone attached a GoPro to a helium ballon which is tied to the rider, so ever time the rider moves, the camera moves. Which, is a lot.
I really had a lot of hope for drones improving MTB footage, but this feels like we’re going back a step. Drones: now with real helmet-camera shakiness!
That totally makes me sick instantly. The concept is great, he just needs to program an ADSR envelope to smooth the tracking of the drone to the transmitter. Thats not even that hard to pull off, I just don’t think he knows to do it.
