I recently got a 2019 Stumpjumper 27.5 and love it overall. However, I am noticing it sits quite low and I get the ocassional pedal strikes on more technical climbs.
I am wondering if anyone has any recommendation with regards to Crank Arms less than 170mm so I can limit pedal clips and switch them out pending trails I decide to ride.

Crank arms will effect your comfort- typically knee pain if wrong, and your power. The crank length needs to match your legs. Pedal banging happens to the best of us, but its our own fault, need to time our power strokes a little better. Good luck- GREAT BIKE!!!

That’s what I have heard, thus far I haven’t had knee pains from the 170mm arms, and the 175mm arms on my rockhopper. I am about 5’11 just shy of 6.0 feet and am currently ridging a medium with the stumpy, and a large (which is a tad on the big side for me) with regards to my rockhopper.

You might be able to reduce pedal strikes a little by turning your suspension. Make sure sag is set correctly, and use the climbing/pedal mode on your shock if you’re not doing that already.
Bikes are lower than ever, and unfortunately increased pedal strikes is part of the tradeoff.
