I am brand new to biking, I didn’t even mean to get into it. I bought a Bridegstone MB-6 to use for Turkey hunting and now I find myself just wanting to go ride. My question is, my bike currently has no suspension and I was wondering, can you add front suspension to a bike that doesn’t have any? I find myself wishing I had it as I go over rocky terrain. I like my bike it is very light, so I just want to know is there an option to add suspension without spending a ton or am I better off buying another bike? Like I said I am brand new to mountain biking so any info on cost, good suspensions, or another bike would be appreciated.

It cold be hard to find a fitting fork for it, since the standard for headsets has changed.

That bike employs a threaded 1" headset. As such it will not easily support a modern suspension fork. You will be better off buying an entry level, front suspension bike. (referred to as a ‘hardtail’)
