I purchased a GT Zaskar 27.5 Hardtail. The bike climbs well but with the aluminum frame its like a bouncing ball in the rear over roots, etc. to the extent that the bike is slow. It has Racing Ralph’s on it which I’m considering switching to Conti Race like what’s on my other bikes. Any thoughts on smoothing this bike out before I sell it?

You could try a larger rear tire for more air volume and lower pressure. Do you run with tubes or tubeless? Tubeless would allow for lower pressure and would take a little bite out of the ride. Good luck.
