      whats up guys hopefully everyone is doing good

      I’m currently in the market for a new drive train my bike is currently stock 2×8

       

      I would like to upgrade to sram eagle SX or NX group but after watching a YouTube video on converting. It mentioned you have to switch you hub ? Or at least put a XD drive ?

      If so what XD drive fits the giant QR freeball hubs ? That’s the name on the giant talon specs.

      would also like to know if any other affordable drive train upgrades weren’t don’t have to mess with my stock hubs thanks !

      For the SX and NX drive train cassettes, it would fit perfectly on to your stock giant talon freehub as the cassette for the SX and NX use a Shimano freehub body as it is a 11-50t. While the GX and above drive trains use a 10-50t cassette which requires an XD freehub body. Hope this helps:)

      I was totally under the impression if needed that whole XD drive but you guys definitely laid out the info !
