The Monarch Crest Crank is an annual fundraiser in Salida, CO that benefits the Alliance Against Domestic Abuse. Here’s the info from their release about their upcoming event, this fall, on September 17:

Join us for the 19th Annual Monarch Crest Crank on Sunday, September 17, 2017.

This historic fundraiser benefits the Alliance Against Domestic Abuse (AADA). We want to invite you to participate this year.

Here are the top 10 reasons you should ride:
#10: Ride one of the best mountain bike trails in the country
#9: See the fall colors from a bike at the top of Monarch Pass
#8: Attend the after party at Riverside Park – with free lunch, libations, and music from Big Meadow
#7: Be a part of Salida Bike Fest
#6: Receive a free water bottle and map (must register by June 30)
#5: Bond with 100 new friends on the trail
#4: Opportunity to win a sweet, new cruiser bike (courtesy of Absolute Bikes)
#3: Shuttle to and from Salida – you don’t have to wear yourself out riding back to Salida
#2: Support an organization that has helped more than 1,100 survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence in the past five years, including women, men, and children.

      And the #1 reason…
#1: You will help people like this survivor who credits her future to the Alliance.
