I know its a bit of a downer to bring back up and its been over a year since the last post, but any new word on the Blue Springs MB Trail?
YES! From the Chuck Lennon and Flagler Area Biking FB pages:
The Blue Springs Trails opening has been pushed back from January 1st to the 5th so everyone can recover from New Years celebrations. This event is nothing fancy, just a soft opening to let people know about and start enjoying the trails. The trails total around 4 miles with fire roads that go for many miles further. I would classify the trails as a beginner skill level. The new trail head in located about a 1/4 mile straight passed the main park entrance down the sand road on the right. There will be people handing out maps beginning at 8:00 am and a guided tour starting a 9:00 am. Come on out and show your support for another trail we can now mountain bike on that our club (Flagler Area Biking) has helped to open in Volusia County.
