A pick up truck is the easiest way to haul a bike, you don’t even need a rack, put the front wheel against something and strap it down, the forks will compress and hold the bike, as long as you have front suspension, you may beable to put the wheel in the corner against the box and the bed and strap it that way then angle the back of the bike toward the back of the truck, you can hold the back of the bike with a bunge cord or make a wooden rack to hold the front and back wheel in place, you should beable to do most of that without drilling any holes.
