Take a visit to your LBS.. You should consider only using the correct fluids avaliable there. At least they are compatable with your bike. Using WD40 is highly not recommended. WD40 really is meant to displace water and break free rusted bolts. It is not really a lubricant. Using correct oil for the chain and cables is a must.
