We’re talking strictly XC for this application. I don’t do any "big hit" riding, and he has a few DH rigs in the garage, left over from a former life, if he’s ever again so inclined.
He’s a former pro downhiller, so he knows about the longer travel, the added weight and cost, and desires none of the above. 😃
