I always look to buy US-made frames. Why? I have a number of reasons, but most of all, I just don’t have any desire to own a carbon fiber frame that is manufactured overseas. I love bikes from Ventana, Guerilla Gravity, and many boutique builders like Walt Works, Independent Fabricators and several others that make both hardtails and full suspension. I’m not one to badmouth carbon bikes or anyone who prefers them over my particular taste. For me, it is nostalgia and the fact that the person who is making my bike is also one who enjoys riding as well. I have a silly belief that my frames have a soul because they were made in the USA. I also like welds, and have my pick of frame color too.
